A conversation I had with my sis on the phone today:
Alicia: (answers phone) Um hello this is Alicia the Power Ranger.
Me: ... What?
Alicia: This is Alicia the Power Ranger.
Me: What colour?
Alicia: Umm, blue. And also the pink one.
Me: You can't be blue and pink! They're two different Rangers!
Alicia: Yes I am blue and pink Power Ranger!
Me: No, Alicia, you can't be both the blue and the pink Power Ranger at the same time. It's like me saying I am the red and green Power Ranger.
Alicia: But you cannot!
Me: Exactly!
Alicia: Red Power Ranger is a boy! Green Power Ranger is a boy!
Me: ... Nonono, you are not getting the point. You can't be two different colours of Power Ranger at the same time because they are two completely different Rangers.
Alicia: I think you should be a girl Power Ranger because you are a girl.
Me: ... Pass the phone to Mummy.
*Note: The Power Rangers she is referring to are the recent Mystic Force ones so yes, blue Ranger is a girl in there. Pink, as always, is a girl too. Red and green, as she has so succinctly pointed out, are boys.
Now every time I hear the Go Go Power Rangers! message tone on someone's phone, I will be reminded of my crushing defeat at the hands of my sister's undeniable Power Ranger logic...
