I resolve to make no New Year resolutions! :<
O FANFARE! Today I bought a pair of shoes from J8 by myself and pretty much on impulse. YAH THAT'S RIGHT, I IMPULSIVE SHOPPED TODAY, SHOCK SHOCK! :O (As Debs put it, THIS IS A KODAK MOMENT!) But mainly because they were red and black (yay!) and looked quite comfortable (yay!) and my existing shoes are kind of... dying (blah).
Things To Look Forward To In The Not-So-Distant Future
1. Gym and Glassroom Party with Liz, Meranda, Rox and Sharyl (sometime erh soon. i hope. haha.)
2. Potentially life-threatening Wednesday night *cough* outing with Debs and Rox.
3. MY NEW BOOKCASES HAVE ARRIVED, HURRAH! Now I just need to wait 2 more days for them to deliver my missing pack of screws so I can finish positioning my shelves and arranging my books on them with bibliomaniacal glee. Until then, I shall rot in bibliomaniacal purgatory by staring at the existing shelves and books I managed to put up and coming up with more interesting configurations for the shelves.
4. Finally giving Debs her much-anticipated long-awaited negative-space-problem-solved FANTABULOUS SKETCHBOOK! :D
5. Artbook shopping with my newly-acquired Kino vouchers.
6. Making a pair of Justin Law's shinigami earphones from Soul Eater.
7. CORALINE!!! :D What would we ever do without Neil Gaiman, hahaha...
BY THE WAY, Yahoo has kindly brought to my attention that MAKING NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS IS BAD FOR HEALTH. TAKE THAT YOU PREACHY ANNOYINGLY OPTIMISTIC MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER SELF-HELP FILL-YOUR-LIFE-WITH-PURPOSE-MY-WAY BASTARDS.
