On the subject of forgetting to mention things, I forgot to say I'm learning Russian now! :) Well, not in formal classes at the moment, just picking up whatever I can from phrasebooks and the internet. If anyone knows where to find proper Russian classes in Singapore, tell me! It's tough finding one cos most people are like GERMAN! FRENCH! SPANISH! JAPANESE! KOREAN! these days. I didn't think Russian was THAT obscure, I mean... it's the official language of the biggest country in the world, for fuck's sake D< Russia spans across 2 continents and 11 time zones! Aah, must backpack there, must backpack there... Who else wants to join me, Meranda and Liz in our Whirlwind Hetalia Backpacking Spree? :D But that'll have to be probably 8 years from now since I officially sold my soul to MOE (ie. 4 years of studying in uni and 4 years to fulfil MOE Teaching Scholarship Bond. YES, imma be a teacher, HIDE YOUR CHILDREN NOW.) Ok, wah, now I realise exactly how much I have forgotten to mention here. SO! Amanda's life so far in a nutshell:
- HETALIA AXIS POWERS OMG RUSSIAAA <333
- Accepted MOE Teaching Scholarship to major in Psychology and teach English and Math to primary school kids next time (HAHAHA ME. TEACHING MATH. THE END OF THE WORLD IS REALLY COMING.)
- During the epic period between two of my previous entries where I posted nothing, I had a job as a call centre agent at Raccoon City 2, christened so for anonymity's sake and because the location was so secluded, if we had a zombie apocalypse in there, no-one would notice. I ranted more about this at my DA Journal, lol. But boy, I had some really weird encounters at work. Both good (HAHA ANDREW AND DEAN HAHAHA) and bad (PFFFBBGHHRRTT).
- I accepted NUS' offer to go to FASS today =_= I hate making decisions like that, there is never a clear-cut outright winner unless you do what I did and flipped a coin. (NO SHE DIDN'T JUST NOT SAY THAT.)
- Again about me learning Russian, I forgot to say this in my Art reminscence post haha! When we visited Mr Dunn and Mrs Ang, I had my Russian phrasebooks with me and when Mrs Ang saw them, she was like, "Huh? You're learning Russian?? Why you learning Russian? Got Russian boyfriend ah??" and I all but died of embarrassment (I think Meranda died of amusement, THANKS FOR LAUGHING AT ME ORH). MADAAAMMM, WHY IS THAT YOUR FIRST ASSUMPTION, CAN'T A GIRL LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE IN PEACE DX And then later in the canteen, Mr Dunn saw my books and was like, "You're seriously learning Russian? Why? Are you seeing a Russian? Are you trying to watch naughty Russian movies?" and Liz and Meranda very helpfully burst out laughing while I died again =_= SERIOUSLY, GUYS DX
- Yesterday, Mren and I went to Spotlight to buy coloured paper so she could finish making me a Russia papercut! :D Excite excite. I felt such glowing pride when I found out there was a shade of green called Russian Green HAHA! So we naturally bought that colour for the papercut XD And then Liz and Viv joined us for dinner at Swensen's, WHICH WAS TOTALLY RUINED FOR ME THANKS TO LIZ AND MREN, PLEASE STOP HURLING SMUT OVER THE TABLE WHILE I'M TRYING TO EAT KTHXBAI DX I talk the talk but I cannot bring myself to walk the walk, but I think I'm corrupted enough already by all your bad influence so I will stop there and not level up anymore in the smut department, thanks >_> (OH ICE CREAM, YOU DO NOT DESERVE THIS.) We went to watch Mr Woolhead perform in A Midsummer Night's Dream after dinner, he played Nick Bottom, LOL. Oh so funny and OH SO WRONG XD Sooo many snort-worthy moments, I think we were all dying from trying not to laugh out loud too much HAHAHA.

Anyway, now that I'm unemployed again (happily so, SLEEPING IN IS A JOY THAT NEVER GROWS OLD), we really need to meet up more often, I miss you guys loads, hahaha!
